M5 beats F430

In the latest autocar, they have got a comparison between the M5 and F430. The M5 wins. Its better in all categories incuding speed but not noise.
The M5 was 0.2 slower to 60mph and 0.3 slower to 0-100. But 0-150 the m5 was quicker. Its a very good article. They are praising the M5 soo much.

Its such a good write up that ive been trying to get 1 from uk dealers with no joy whatsoever.
There is 1 at Synter i think but they want ?70000 for it and it aint got the M seats
A couple of imports are saying June/ July delivery but you are still talking ?70000 for them.
Tomorrow i get my 535d chipped by DMS but after that write up i want an M5 soon

Guys come on. I 100% love the M5 without a doubt but a F430 IS a F430.
Those 2 cars compare with each other like the Maserati Quattroport and a Porsche 911 Turbo. Both meant for speed but one is made for bringing co-workers to a meeting QUICK and the other is for your mistress.

In a way imo it owuld be more fair and better to compare the F430 to the new M3, both V8, both well over 400bhp and both a 2 door coupe. A ferrari will always be a ferrari, smth apart and distinct, but no way i am going to pay for it an M5 and an M3, if you know what i mean....
So imho the comparo is quite just, as alot of mags and tv shows compared the 2 of them. If it were my money i would 100% choose with my heart the M5, but if i would have to choose for free i would get the ferrari and then sell it...
