I posted this on the E60 board so I figured I would run it by you guys, too:

I just came from my dealer. My 550i should be here in a couple of weeks and I am so looking forward to getting it. Today, however, he made me an incredible deal. 2008 ///M5 fully loaded, active seats, full leather, soft close doors, etc etc for no money down, 7 MSDs @ $1340/month for 24 months, 15K/yr. The only problems are that I would still need to pay my final 2 payments on my car @ $986/month on my 06 550. I would also miss out on my BMW CCA rebate of $1000 and let's face it, $400 more a month is $400 more a month no matter how sweet a deal it is. One more thing, the color is silverstone which I really don't want only because it's basically the same color I have had for my past 3 cars and honestly, I am sick of it. Another consideration is that my insurance would go up a couple of hundred dollars and the gas mileage would be even more dismal then on my 550. What to do.....hmmmmmm.

Why would you miss out on the BMWCCA rebate?

My membership lapsed and I will not have a solid year until March 15.

You're so excited you posted it TWICE on here......

I think you better do it - you only go round once - this is not just a rehearsal, it's the real deal. Go for it.
