I think he's talking about his 545. M5s came out in 2006 in the US with some 2005 build dates, not Feb 2004.

I have 47K on mine, June 06 build. No problems so far which actually scares me as I'm about to run out of warranty in the next 2 months. haha

bought my car with 30.5k miles just over 4 months ago, now has 34k miles (including two 500 mile round trip runs to NY, 1 time to buy the car and another to put on my Eisenmann Race )

Now that school has started back up tho, it spends most of the time in the garage

Just broke 20,000 miles on my 2007 6 speed, with a 4,000 mile roadtrip from NYC> Mississippi> Key West , FL> NYC>

My March 2008 has 4160 miles of problem free driving! Life in aviation will do that, I need to be home more

39,754 ... April 06 built.... Thats good to hear no one has major breakdowns...
I dont know if getting extended warrenty is worth it as I heard many horror stories on
people getting denied for repairs....
