I posted the link on the M5 discussion at the same time as I posted it here. Glad everyone is enjoying the clip.
I have an 05 545i and my partner has a new M5. We spend a lot of drive time visiting our reale state projects so I am fortunate so I get a lot of time in the M5. He lets me drive often. Incredible car, brutaly fast in the upper RPMs. Still for me the 545 is the perfect street car.

Look at the way Auberlen drifts the M5 on the wet skidpad and at the end of the video with that super long drift. It makes me drool.
Only thing I find weird is Auberlen losing control of the car with the DSC off on a wet skidpad. Is it just me or do you guys think that he made the M5 go out of control on purpose ??

nice video.... however way too much of a set up and paid promo
luckly the M5 does not need promo, it is simple the best and it needs no words........
EXACTLY HE MADE THE CAR SPIN ON PURPOSE. You can see the extra hit on gas and extra movement on the wheel at the last moment to actually spin it......
not that I do think the M5 can't spin, I'm sure it can loose control even with DSC on but this was really such an obvious set up

yes of course it was setup though, he was showing how the car would react if dsc was off! we all know he could have controlled it if he wanted but he was just showing for inexperienced drivers and it is a promo for bmw so you shouldn't have expected less
