GTR's advantage is got great low end torque and by the time M5 is up to speed GTR is too far ahead.
It doesn't ride as nice as M5 but the handling is superb and on the firm side.
It is a true sports car. IMO for $85k is the best value for the money!

It's tough to compare NA vs tuned FI. FastDad's M5 is a Beast-one of the fastest i've seen.

I can believe that the GTR is not as nice a ride as the M5. Nissan does not generally make refined suspensions. I have leased 2 Infinitis and driven many others. None have any suspension refinement -- lots of stiffness, good resistance to body roll but no compliance and smoothness at all. The passengers in my M45 Sport would frequently get carsick because of the rough, punishing ride. That has never happened in my 550.
Me thinks that the F10 M5 will leave the GTR in the dust -- especially a tuned one. You have to remember that the E60 M5 dates from 2006 -- a long time ago in the march of automotive technology.

They are also 2 completely different cars. The M5 is a 4 door sedan designed to carry 5 passengers comfortably. The GTR was not designed with the rear passengers in mind.

Right on. That's why the M5 -- not the GTR -- is what I really want as my next ride. I need a real back seat. But I can't help but admire the stunning performance offered by the GTR at such a low price.
