Its the dish part of the wheel behind the face.. REALLY hard to clean that area, as i cant get my arm in behind the face and clean that 8" dish portion out. ANY recommendations on how to easily clean that? It shows the dirt so easily and looks weird when the face is spitshiny and the dish behind is dirty.

I have been told to get on of those stick style dusters to fit in there.. but that doesnt necessarily clean them well...

I dont care about cleaning them all the time because the look of all black to me is worth it, but i just want to try and get that inside dish piece!!
Thanks guys,

My car is very similar to yours in outer appearance. I can tell you that I have been tempted many times to make my 166s just like yours but its very true that you better have a ridiculously badass brembo kit behind those wheels before making them all black or you'll end up disappointed. The other thing is since your tints are clearly at 20% or 15% you do not see the interior of your car whatsoever and it takes away from the size of the E60 bodystyle. You can't see even a shade of the driver to emphasize the sexy positioning of the driver in the vehicle. Its very tricky to keep a black car aggressive and classy at the same time.

You're in an M5, its a badass car no matter what. But if you want my honest opinion I would do the following to it:

1) Put 30-35% tints all around the car. NO darker.
2) Take those 166s and make them Hyper Silver again, or, sell them and get new wheels that are. Perhaps 111 20" Miros or DPE's with a nice lip. etc...
3) Gloss black front grill.

I truly think that those 3 things will just set your car on fire! =)

Congrats on an amazing car, I'm jealous.

Now that is sick. I was thinking of doing the same on my M5 but probably smoking it a bit less if possible. Congrats

So basically, your reply is; I dont like what you've done with your car, turn it back to completely stock looking and reverse all the changes you have made to your car lol.

1) I like the darker tint forsure, I am not one to drive around with all the windows down, banging music and wanting people to see me. I have the darker tint because i DONT want people to be able to see in. ( I actually drive with my shades up in the day for this reason, although sometimes restricts my visibility -0.1)

2) I obviously made the switch to gloss black for a reason, i JUST got them done, why would i go back to what i JUST had. There is no doubt that i will have rims on this car one day, IF i keep it. RPI exhaust, and some minor preformance mods would come first.

3)I've been thinking about doing a gloss black grille and side vents, but im afraid it will look TOO murdered. I like the slight chrome accents the car has right now (exhaust, grille, vents)

I see where your coming from because its your opinion, but your reply basically sais change the car back to a "stock" look instead of the "murdered" beast..

-1.

FYI: Brembo big brake kits are in the future forsure!!!!

yr car looks good

i have not read all the suggestions here

but you need to swap those chrome grills out immediately

trinity sells them for 40 bucks, and it will add to your murdered look

i personally would have preferred powdercoating matte rather than gloss on the 166s

but this is what makes us different.

nice ride

Don't listen to these guys. The 166's look great PC'ed. Hyper Silver is so boring - blah. Love the murdered out look. Keep it going bud.

I definitely would do the front grill asap. It's a cheap mod and makes a world of difference, especially with the murdered out theme you got going on.
