when i used to post on corral.net we ended up finding out that Dave Attel was a regular there, frequent poster and owned a few nice mustangs. if i recall correctly, someone found out, dave asked them not to say anything, someone told someone who told someone and everyone was flipping that there was a celebrity poster on the boards. he dissapeared. we suspected he came back as a noob shortly after.

It's pretty simple. The man may very well have the fastest E60 in Florida and maybe in the U.S. But the fastest car in Florida -- not a chance at 800 bhp and 4,000 pounds of weight.
By the way, the dude selling the Veyron is out of his mind. The asking price is something like two and one half times MSRP.
There is no stock, non-modded street legal car that can beat or even approach the Veyron's top end of 253 mph. And I have my doubts that many, if any, modded cars that remain street legal can beat that top speed.
With 800 bhp, our friend in the NBA's ride should be able to do about 215-225. But I strongly doubt that it would be stable or safe at that speed.

The seller is asking $3.9M, when you can get the new Grand Sport for way less than that
Doesn't anyone recall how smooth the Veyron ran in the Gumball 3000 at 210mph+ speeds?
