To each his own, but I personally don't like it  . It looks like it's primed and ready to be painted. All that matters is that you like it.

Thanks, ro11dice, that makes sense to me. I hope I am not in the skinny minority here.

Nice evil e!
There's no mistaking your car in the parking lot!
I did some cosmetic work on my 530i (basically to look like an M5) and enjoyed my own sort of "individualism" but now that I'm the proud owner of an M5 I'm still contemplating how and what I'm going to do to make mine, well....mine.
When I see your car I can't help but thing of the Military Stealth plane.
Oh, and I also appreciate the quality paint job you did to your car. Removing all the panels requires a lot of work but the end result looks great.

To each his own indeed. I, too, am one of those guys who keeps his car in true stock form, partially because I like them the way they are and partially for the resale value. That said, if money were no object, I'd definitely have two cars - one stock and loaded and one modded to the eyeballs.
Evil e - I love what you've done with your ride here. The matt black makes those sharp lines stand out even more, in my opinion, and makes the car look suitably menacing. Imagine this car showing up in your rearview mirror on a dark night ...

BMW had a mat finish aluminum paint on the Z4 M Coupe concept that was really cool. BMW did say it would be hard to maintain. I think the black looks a little too much like primer, as someone said earlier.
