Porsche is pronounced Z06 in my garage. I would get the new one.

The Z8 is a very unusual car but I would take the E60 M5 because it's still in production.

damn i guess I'm old school on this one, I love the old styling of the Z8, a future classic for sure. I love the M5 but damn the Z8 is too sexy, its gives me goose bumps, a former Bond Car also? forget about it, I can honestly say that car will give any guy the pimp juice he needs, lol. I'll pick up the Z8 and buy a 525i

I must be out of sync with "pimp." Someone define please--the contemporary meaning or at least the way you are using the word.. I wouldn't want anything associated with pimp/pimpmobile as I use the word, pimp.

I may be alone with this, but I never understood the appeal of the Z8. I see them on the street and they look like Miata's on steroids.

Given the two choices, I'd get the M5 without flinching.

For those of us old enough, for example, to remember the original Batman TV show , pimp was a derogatory term, associated with prostitution and over-the-top Cadillacs with chrome wheels, carpeted dash boards, and big fluffy dice hanging from the rear view mirror. Now that bling is so popular (remember when being humble was a virtue?? ), pimp is used as a positive term.

hahahahahahahha.....now you're keepin it real yo.....

Hmmm.....coming back to this topic, I saw a Z8 yesterday in Boston, I think its the alpina version and it has the Alpina 19 or 20 inch rims on it. Well after looking for 5 minutes I came to the conclusion that it was not as great as it seems. 2 seater, slower, lower top speed, no LC, no SMG (don't even want to start with 7 -spd), 30K more, heck gimme an M5 anyday. Even pimp factor alone is not enough to justify the buying of the car. Oh and if James Bond would be man enough to drive the Z8, he should be in the M5 or M6 for future Bond movies!

Quick Reply: E60 M5 or Z8?
