The typical rear spacer size on M5 166's is 10mm. As far as I read on the M5Board when I had mine, that is the widest recommended size for max push. I am not sure how 18's are not rubbing.
No rubbing whatsoever... I was surprised as well.

I was running stock size tyres.

I use my stock wheels as my winters, but I do use spacers with them. I use 10mm in the front and 12mm in the rear.

I was going to say that 18's were too much, as I tested 15's at first and found them too much.
