def understand the 911 turbo. almost bought one b4 but held back....thank god i did from the market. BMWs always been into handling and AMG for overpowered monsters. cant rev high with torque. It's definitely a lot more fun to drive with a high revving monster. feels more of a sports car than driving a truck engine in a car.

If you want to talk about kill stories between the E60 M5 and the E92 M3 lets look at the fastest times on the Ring for both:
E92 M3 8:05
E60 M5 8:13
So yes the M5 is the big daddy on the Autobahn and it's more luxurious, but in the twisties and on the track the smaller more nimble M3 is the winner hands down.
At the end of the day both cars are great. If I could own both at the same time I would.
