E60 M5 Brake Pads
Hi
I bought my First M5 back in May and have not looked back absolutely love it. The only problem I have had is when I bought the car the IDrive said the front pads had 15000 miles and the rear 16000 miles. Just over a 1000 miles later the front are now reading 2800 and the rear 15000. Obviously something is not quite right. Has anyone else come across this?

Ignore the Idrive maintenance interval. Change the brake when the brake pad lights comes in.
Plus reset the interval if you want after changing the pads.

check or have the pads checked to see how much actual pad is left and go according to that, and when it is time to replace yes make sure the interval is reset and also change the sensors as well. on the M5 there should be 2 sensors for the front and 1 sensor for the rear.
