It was never a factual statement, just an observation. I know their are crazier cars on the road, but my DMS M5 defo feels like the most bonkers & it was the best way i could describe it.

Cheers all, i'm loving it so much i think i could get arrested in certain countries. I'm hoping Europe & the Nurburgring are ready for us as it promises to be a wonderful trip & i can't wait to get this beast on the track.

My perspective on the DMS map was that driving this new M5 was going to be a learning curve, so why do that curve twice by learning her capabilities as a stock M5 & then re-learning in 3-6months when she'd been breathed on by DMS. It made perfect sense to get this done quickly & learn the cars characteristics in full tune all in one go.

I've already had tuition, being a Ferrari Driver Training Day & Audi Driver Training last year & i fully intend to find such a course for the M5 or if not possible to take a focused RWD performance car training course as i believe driver training to be one of the better mods one can make to a performance car. So with my new stead & her up to full power i'll go learn how to drive her correctly & apply those techniques.

sounds like wise man there,

be carefull you know the Ring bites, and ask Steve to sit next to you and show you first the Ring, or Sabine then post pix from the track.

I've no intention of going balls out, as this is not the 1st time i've driven the Ring, as i was their for 4 days in September last year & did over 15 laps. I know just how un-forgiving she can be & i'll be using my time their to learn more about her capabilities. The Ring Taxi is not operating while we're their  but i'm going to enquire about some tuition if available.

Will try to post piccies over the weekend.

Car is at the dealers for 2 days as they invstigate a battery drain so i won't get it back until later today & it went in yesterday morning (i'm missing her). DMS also found 2 bolts on the bulkhead & a cable tie missing so they're being replaced as well.

She'll be getting a top to bottom clean over the weekend in readiness for my departure to Germany & The Ring on Tuesday so i'll snap some piccies then.
