I would have to agree with this post in that I pay a lot more for gas than I do for insurance.

To answer the question regarding the cost of insurance, I'm 25 years old and I pay $1151.80/6 months - full coverage on 3 cars ('04 Audi A4, '06 M5, '05 X5 4.8is). I've been with Geico for 9 years, no negatives on my history and I max out on all possible discounts (eg- good driver, multi-car, defensive drivers, etc.). Luckily I have yet to put a claim in through Geico, as I have heard good and bad stories about the claim process, but I've had quotes from other "better" companies for twice what I've been paying for half the coverage...

I'm 22, on my parents insurance, have no tickets or accidents on record and I'm still paying $200 a month!! I used to be paying $260 a year ago, I think they are screwing me over on only a 525

Well, I am over 25 - Pay about 60 dollars a month for full coverage.
I have had 2 huge tickets one was doing 97 in a 35 (Speeding) and the other was doing 113 in 55 (Reckless driving)

I thank god I am lucky
