iamsmc is correct, although some dealerships have put together their own maintenance plans for their own buyers. Your "normal" things are oil changes every 15k or more ($100 or so DIY, $160-180 at most dealers), brake fluid every 2 years (I did this myself for $9 with BMW fluid and an hour of time), spark plugs every 30k miles or so (that could get expensive), and brake pads whenever they wear out. I'm sure somewhere along the way there are normal inspections too, and those are typically very expensive (something like $300-400 for 15k inspection, $800-900+++ for 30k inspections). I don't know about timing for things like tranny fluid, diff fluid, steering fluid changes, because BMW doesn't really have a posted schedule for these things any more. I'm sure somewhere we can find a bulletin of maintenance things for the E60 M5, but I haven't seen it.
