I have just bought a used M5 brake set incl. discs and calipers etc... however the pads are a little worn and I want to put some fresh ones on. Apart from the OE stuff, what other brands can I go for?

I had my local garage check Feroda pads, but seems they dont make them for M5/M6.... Can anyone else help with some recommendations?

Not sure if Brembo's are compatible but if they are, go for them.

Yeah, price quoted was good and M5 brakes are going to have enough braking power!!! I was looking at Brembo but price was MUCH higher.

Will check tire rack now etc...

Why not go OEM? I bought after market "dustless" pads for my 330Ci and the performance compared to stock was much worse

Reason being even with my stock set up now (i.e. non m5), the amount of dust that comes off it is annoying.

Now with the M5 brakes, the pads are much bigger and im guessing more dust will come off it - its a hassle to keep teh wheels clean!

I will prob try the "dust-less" aftermarket type first... if performance is not as good then i will re-assess.
