I know your worries. We have the same ones in Singapore too. However, with DMS, you pay around 1500 pounds and its only a remap. You can have it removed anytime you want. Best of all, its a great improvement throughout. I sat in a friend's M5 (remapped by DMS recently) and my GOD, was I impressed. The car just kept clinbing in speed, wanting more and more input from the driver. He bought me around in AUTO at 500 BHP with SMG logic set at 4. The moment he let it rip, the car just sped off, DSC lighting up like a Christmas tree at every gear change.
Oh yeah, forgot to mention; the limiter was also raised to 400 KM/H, not that its ever gonna hit that.
I was told that DMS has a client with an M6 in Bahrain hitting 340KM/H (readable only from HUD). This was recorded for private viewing and I am awaiting for the clip from them. The fastest I've done on a straight road is 273KM/H on a highway in Malaysia recently. I'm quite tempted to go for the DMS remap but only after the car's more than a year old and I'm sure that the software, etc has stablised.

limiters are set to 270km/h in P400 mode, and 370km/h in P500 mode

woah..28.360,00 euros...if i did the math correctly, i dont really consider paying 35 grand for 100hp+ for a m5/m6....
i mean, it would totally make your m5 a beast (which already is) but is it worth tuning it up to 600+ from 506 for 30 grand?
if you had loads of money to spend on it would be a good option but i dont think its worth putting the time/money into a car that is already the benchmark of all sport sedans
