5soko || My 2009 M5 || INTRO
Hey guys, Im glad to be on this board, seems like alot of nice and knowledgable guys from searching for information!
Well after a long and about 3-5 months of researching, test driving, forum talk and friendly advice, I finally landed on my next platform for the next few years.
CPO 2009.5 E60 M5.. Fully loaded with every option! Interior of the car is in PERFECT condition. The exterior aswell, has no dents, no major scratches, just the common front bumper,headlight, hood rock chips, overall in awesome condition. As you can see in the pics.
No car i test drove, researched, even came close to my overall feel and or want for this car! ( C63, E63 NA engine, 550i f10, S4, 750i, M3)
The heads up display, awesome V10 engine, SMG tranny which i think is amazing!, heating steering wheel and seats, AC seats, moving bolsters when turning, suede roof, leather stiched dash and doors! Just an amazing quality interior, the options and special feel of the car goes on and on. Then the driving experience just took my breath away, the steering feel, suspension, make for an great driving experience. The top end power and S6 SMG BANG shifts is just a spectacular experience, no other car i drove came close to. I just fell in love.
I've owned a 2007 335i coupe ( tune only) 3 years ( drunk driver hit it while parked) and then got a 2010 E90 LCI M-sport 335i N54, which was heavily modded, Fully catless with every bolt on, Ran high boost via JB4 on E85 50/50 mix.. Bought it new, and at 30k miles, started giving me too many problems, misfires, injectors, fuel pump, it was time to leave this paltform. Was in the 335i game for a lil over 6 years! and two N54's!
Props to Terry @ Burgetuning, i was one of his first customers, and he is really the man! Took care of me for all the time i was with the JB4 through all these years and i had a blast alpha testing all his prodcuts and its been awesome!
To think my 335i was FBO ( Full bolt on) and i datalogged and spent so much money on mods and making sure she ran right, this M5 is faster in STOCK form! Alot faster on pump vs pump. Thats butt dyno wise anyways.
Will be making another thread of all my mods coming together
So far I did a Oil change, using the oil change kit from BMW and the two bolt drain method, LUX angel eyes, BMW performance grills, Painted side markers, RPI scoops/ BMC filter with charcoal delete, 3M 20% tint all around, LED plate lights, BMW M license plate frame, M5 interior mats, M brake caliper stickers, Bavarian technic cable for datalogging and code rading, All within 1-2 weeks Summer time: Evolve Tune, and secondary cat delete along with a section 3 exhaust.
I am really happy to be in the M world, and now see what its all about!
Anyways here are some pics: Enjoy.
