I have a 2008 LCI M5 and my CCC is dead. I've decided to upgrade to the CiC but I'm confused about the center console that houses the CCC/CIC controller.

It appears that there are only two options specifically for the M5 with the new controller slot and they are both wood trim, extremely expensive, and don't match the trim of my car (51167903537 and 51167903527). So I was wondering if this part would work from the 5 series?

It probably would fit fine since the M5 parts cross reference to the non-M 5-series too. They probably just didn't categorize the aluminum trim properly -- ETK has a bunch of little errors like that.
