Once service was complete I picked up the car and drove around until the engine was up to temp. Then it was M button time which is programmed to S6/P500S/EDC Sport/DSC off and found an open stretch of road. From a stop I hammered it!! My lord, I now have first hand experience of why this car is called "Beast"!
I just have to take it easy thru 3k miles, but it was about time I got a chance to really experience this car.
That is all
p.s. dealer told me HUD is NOT adjustable....strange since I read a post from a bmwna rep who stated it was on the M5Board. Guess I'll shoot bmwna an email to find out what the deal is.

You CAN adjust the HUD. I've done it with both my 545 as well as the M5. But I think the range is only half an inch side-to-side and up-and-down. There's also a DIY instruction on Turner Motorsport's website I believe.

Thats what I thought and since I was at the dealer I figured they could do it for me, guess I was wrong.
I will probably do it myself just to save the hassle with the dealer, I'm used to watching the tach anyway.
