Hi guys,
so - have been playing around with a couple of alloys in the last 12 months. The results can be seen on www.syed.at/e60.
this year, when i changed my winter to summer tires, i decided to put 3 mm spacers in the rear. The results:
www.syed.at/e60/rear-side.jpg
www.syed.at/e60/front.jpg
www.syed.at/e60/rear.jpg
www.syed.at/e60/side.jpg
i would say, the 167 now really look very impressive - in total i have now an offset of 17 + 3 = 14. If you look at my homepage, there are some photos of the 166 alloys with 13 mm spacers, that had an offset of 28 + 13 = 15. i would say an offset of about 13-15 is perfect for the 9,5" alloys. the 167 without spacer and offset 17 really did not impress me that much - made the wheels a bit lost in huge fenders.

Is that you selling one wheel set from Austria, every three months, on eBay?

Four sets already? I have only three ...jealous

I'd say 167's are very nice with 17 offset, no spacers needed
