WOW!! ipod MOST interface cost is crazy !!

Just got a call back from my dealer with a quote for the new ipod MOST interface part + labour.......
$1120 !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
for an ipod !!! that's insane !!!
They told me the labour would take 3.5 hours !!!
I didn't realize they needed to take the entire car apart !!
Well.....I don't know what to make of it....I think I'll stick to operating the ipod...from the ipod...... with my $30 Monster cable connected to the aux input!

If you already have CD changer, just do the installation yourself or just install it and bring it to dealer to enable it. This saves you at least $500. Programming should be not be charged for no more than 1 hr.
