I believe this will be fitted from 2005 models....do you think it will be retro-fittable on our 2004 ones, all wood looks great on the 645 and I'd like to extend my antracite maple on my car.

I believe it is a replacement piece. All the trims in BMW's are replacement pieces and none are glued (at least in my old e46).
