And for future reference, I havent been watching the forums as much lately. I've been extremely busy getting my bike ready for the track. If anyone needs help with anything or wants prices on something, please shoot me a email.

I ordered mine from bmwpartsman on this forum and got a resonable price and he was GREAT to work with. I tried to order some additional pieces from him, but never heard back, so he may have stopped visiting the forum. Anyway, the wood gear shift replacement is literally a "pull straight up as hard as you can" replacment. I have heard that technicians have truly broken their nose by not being careful and being in the wrong spot, but I was able to just pull mine off with a LOT of pressure. Then you put the new one in place, and POP it down, it takes less than a minute. Regarding the brake....never done it.
Sorry I had posted from work, that was me. I had sent you several PM's and even tried tracking you down at the dealership (I had the number from my order but you had left for the day). I got what I needed, but good to see you are still around!

Cool. As long as you got what you needed and it was the right part the first time, thats all that matters to me. Did you end up getting something else from us?
No but I will. I ordered the poplar panel locally (the part that is standard in 05 but not in 04)
