I'm looking the get a slight tint on the rear and sides. Can someone personally recommend a tint shop in the Los Angeles area? Thanks.

I am looking for 50% rear/back windows, 70% front windows. Please let me know what you think?

How dark is 35%, will I have any trouble with cop?

At 50% rear and 70% front, why bother tinting?

Many SoCal members have 35% all around or 35% up front and darker in the rear.

I'd personally recommend going with Huper Optik. Especially if you want radiation/heat protection and are concerned with being legal (and it's illegal to have any tint on the fronts and windscreen in CA.)

Huper is ceramic and you can get away with less tint and still have all the protection. It's expensive but great stuff and great looking, too.

The best place in all of SoCal for professional and authorized Huper installation is Songs Tint Masters. They are the best, trust me. These guys are tint artists. Not inexpensive, but the best workmanship and materials. Ask for Han (or Jae.) These people have a great reputation for a reason. If you don't want Huper, then I'm sure there are other places in town that will be cheaper.

great guys.. I'd try the new crystillium 3M tint on your front windshield as well. I love it! 70% light thru but 50% cut of heat.. keeps my black interior cool.
