Hello,

I will soon be getting my shiny new 535i and was wondering which window tint to go with. I have two choices - Llumar ATC and Llumar ATX (Axcess). The Llumar ATX (Axcess) is $200 more. What is the general consensus - is it worth the extra money?

Any advice would be much appreciated...

Why do you only have 2 choices?

LLUMAR ATR is metallic tint, AXCESS is new tint which is Ceramic, that's why expensive.

Many seem to go with FORMULAONE Pinnacle (Ceramic) tint for $320 tinted.

If you don't have navigation you can go with ATR tint which has slight mirror like reflection look.. I like it and have on my car.

It's not ATR, but ATC. I think ATC it the replacement for the regular Llumar AT. I'm leaning towards paying the extra $200 for the AXCESS. The reason I only have two choices is that my dealer is paying for the regular tint (part of our deal) and therefore I have to use his guy, who only stocks Llumar Tint.

I don't have Nav, but I do have Satellite Radio and a Radar Detector (V1). So, I'm thinking that AXCESS may be a safer bet for $200.

I would go with the Llumar Ceramic for the extra money.

Llumar Axcess, as i've been told is a 'non-conductive metallic', not ceramic. It is a great product and worth the $. Although it is not that expensive compared to other premium tints.
Go for it.
