Will e60 wheels fit on a 97 528i?

some guy wants to but my stock 17 inch 530i wheels. he is asking me if they will fit a 97 528i. does any body know if they will ? ???

As far as I know, the 97' 528 has a different offset from our E60s, so the wheel may not work......but don't quote me on that...............

The E60 wheels will not fit an E39. The hub on the E60 is smaller than that of the E39. So you would have to have the wheel hub bored out. That would mean unless they are PERFECTLY done, the new owner will most likely have a shimmy for the life of the wheels.

You never answered my last question regarding the stereo. Which wires did you tap into for the subs you installed for Vishal?

sorry i did not reply. my car is still in service i wanted to post some pics of the location and wires i used. i should get my car back at the end of this week. you never know maybe the dealer will damage a third wheel!

The offsets are the same for the E39 and E60, but the hub diameters are different. E39's have 74mm hubs, while E60's have 72.5mm hubs.

E39 wheels fit an e34 just fine with the use of hubcentric rings which are available at the Tire Rack. I believe the part number is A670.
