I've got a bit of a crazy idea - bear with me on this one. I've got an Xi e60 and I've been looking at different rims for a long while now. X5 rims seem to be one of the best fits for these cars, but the set I'm looking at is 9.5 and 10.5 inches wide front and back, respectively. Offsets are 45 and 30 front and back, respectively.
I know that the rears would probably fit with just a little fender roll, given that there is A LOT of space there, but the fronts with 9.5 inches of girth will rub. Provided I get slightly narrower tires to get that "stretched on" look, how much can I really roll the fenders? Is there a way to flare the fenders without cutting/welding/additional kit and so - just to take the stock fenders and roll them about an inch on each side?

Well you can roll the fenders and pull them but for a 5 series I wouldnt do the pulling part because it just looks tacky.

just dont put the M5 badge on. those who have had M5 fenderes that I know of have put on different stickers on the fender grills, like Hamann or AC Schnitzer according to what mods they had on their cars.

To your knowledge, is it possible to pull fenders more than that? I think for 9.5in fronts with 45 offsets to fit an Xi, I'll need to pull at least an inch on each side. The rears I'm not too worried about - they'll probably need to be rolled just a bit - mostly for the looks...

9.5" in the front are you sure? that's pretty aggressive. normally the fronts are 8.5 - 9". i'll ask my buddy who pulls and rolls but 1" is a lot imho.
update: okay my buddy said you can probably get 1" but he doesn't recommend since it'll most likely turn out wavy. once you get to about 10mm it starts getting a lil wavy because of the spot welds.

All said and done, 9.5 fronts with some "stretched on" tires will probably work, because the stock setup is ET43 offsets and 8 inches wide rims, but it has some serious room on the outside (maybe 20-25mm? anyone know for sure?

At least, such is my hypothesis - can someone confirm/deny, please?
Now a question about the hub-bore: these rims have a 72.6mm hub-bore, which (I think) matches the Xi e60 without any hub-centric rings, or am I wrong in my assumption?
