I perfer the painted cover. So so with red reflectors. But if it's not painted, it looks really cheap.
If I have a un-painted cover, I will go buy a pair of red reflectors.

I think it's crazy to ask a question, then criticize those who answer it. To be honest, I could care less if it was American or Euro "design", I like the RRR. I agree that your opinion is your opinion. I also admit, the body color panels are nice and clean. I had black semi-faded inserts that needed something done. I think for $20, it was a good choice.
P.S. My friends think the car has an additional 10hp because it looks Euro

yes i do criticize, but forums are nothing more than a debate to begin with. I just wanted other POVs and opinions in the matter.

The red reflectors are standard for us down here in Australia, so I've gotten used to seeing them (especially on mine as I don't have a sports kit). Still, I've seen photos on this board where they're painted and I must admit that my personal preference is to have the red reflectors.
I'm not buying into the mod/don't mod argument... just saying I prefer the red reflectors...

I just love painted reflectors! thats why i even bought some for the m3, but im trying to sell them cause it was painted all wacky, but still looks great

i agree that yes of course its all a matter of taste. for me.. no mud flaps.. i mean its a luxury car.. and no red reflectors. the bumper looks simpler and cleaner without them.
