Where should I go for modifications?

Where should I go for modifications?
Hey everyone,
I have had my '04 530i for a little over 2 years and am looking to put some money in it. The owner before me had a custome exhaust put on as well as lowering it by an inch or two. My plans so far are to get high performance brakes as well as new rims. Then putting in an N54 engine and then with that a new clutch if need be or anything else that it needs to handle the conversion. What I would like to know is where some of you buy your mods from and if you have any pointers or tips for me.
