Get 20's. Don't listen to any of these guys. I live on a farm and drive on 20's as I mow down my fields.

I'm happy with my non-RF 19's, but the RF 18's where horrible.

As I see it, 20" is too much, those are not tires but only rims.

20" wheels should have 245/30 F and 275 or 285/25 R tires.

I have to disagree with you on this one since I run a 255/30 and a 295/25 without any rubbing issues. Ask member poleposition, he had the same wheels before.

I contacted a wheel shop looking for some suggestions on wheels. The shop tells me that 20s on an E60 is asking for bent rims. The shop recommends 19s over 20s due to there being more rubber and a reduce chance of a bent rim and a better ride. Is this true? I what my Bimmer built for speed not cruising.
==============

I love the 20s but their right the 19 has a little more side wall cushion and might help you from bending a rim if you did hit a pothole! But those 20s are nice!!! We have pot holes here in GA to contend with and I miss my stock 17's for that little extra cushion that I might need in case I ever hit a pot hole!! And to me, the 17in are not the best in looks on our e60s, vs the 18in, 19in, and 20s which to me give the e60 that aggressive look and of course that BMW cool!!

Good luck with your decision process with your 19in or 20in rims! Are you going to buy 3rd party vendor or BMW OEM? If you buy BMW OEM the best prices I have found is at Chapman BMW in Scottsdale AZ aka BMW Wheels.com: CLICK ON: http://www.bmwwheels.com/

I put 20s on my 545 and the rear tires rub in a sharp turn or 4 people in the car. I have 275s on the rear with sport package. Anything I can do to help this? Thanks

Go with 20's. If you have the right firment, you can go with 245-35 anbd 275-30 . That will give you a decent amount or sidewall.

i think 20s suite and fill the space in the wheel well of the e60s well. 19s look good on the e90s imo.
