BMWFan,

Any side pics of the car? I have seen quite a few of the BBS on the E39, but none on a E60 yet.

I have 19x8.5, 245/35 Front, and 19x9.5, 275/30 Rear, Bridgestone Potenza S-03 Pole Position, on a 545 with sport package.

Remember, this plus one size keeps your rolling diameter (approximately) the same as your current setup, thus your speedometer and wheel clearances will be fine. As CRRobert stated, though, your concern will be the wheel offset; in lay terms this can "push" the tire/wheel out toward the fender and cause rubbing, or, in an incorrect positive offset, affect brake clearance.

There are a number of wheels offerred aftermarket which are specific to BMW: Hamann, Hartge, Breyton, and SSR (though IMO the SSR are too thin against the fat rear of the E60, and don't fill the wheelwell as much as i like.) who make wheels which will perfectly fit your E60. My Hartge's are like orginal equipment; I too was concerned with the sport package and a full load on 19's. I'd be careful about going to a 10 inch wide on the back; some in this forum have done it with no problem, but i had Breyton's on and they rubbed. I'll be honest, though, i'm a hell of a lot more careful on where i ride as they will be less forgiving should I hit the wrong hole.

can you choose the offset of the wheels when you fit them?

8.5x19" offset 15 - 245/35
9.5x19" offset 14,5/21,5 - 275/30

i got these numbers from the ACS website. the combination above will not touch.

thanks

Why is it BBS rims always look good on BMW's? It's like they're made for each other.
