Ok, so here's the deal... I want to get new wheels, but the wife and I are having twins in May! So, needless to say money is being saved right now. I saw an ad recently about powdercoating services. I really like the look of darker wheels on the titanium silver. Has anyone done this to their OEM wheels? I was thinking this would be fun until I can get what I want! What do you guys think?

if they are 18's stock dont waste the money because while it would look better, your gonna want 19's soon. IF there 19's then yes powdercoat them

I think you should weigh out the cost of dis-mounting the tires, having the wheels powdercoated and then having the tires re-mounted and balanced. It's probably going to cost around $400 to $450. You could save the $ towards a bigger better set later, or just do it! Your call! Goodluck!

I say if you like your wheels but are just looking for a different look, then powdercoat.. But I'm biased
