What's the OEM sport spring part#?
Anyone know the P/N for 09.2003 545iA sport springs? RealOEM says talk to your dealer but my dealer is worse than useless for this kind of info so my hope is with you guys!
I'm looking at the possibility to replace my non-sport springs and shocks with OEM sport (S226A) as a retrofit. The parts I have understood are needed are:
Front sport springs
Rear sport springs
31316766997 Left front strut
31316766998 Right front strut
31336764086 Front bump stops
33526766999 Rear struts
33536762722 Rear bump stops
PS Yes, I am aware of Eibach, H&R and KW so let's leave those for another thread...

to get the correct spring part#, the parts counter has to specify which options your car has into their etk, which then spits out the correct part #s. they are different if, for example, you have the heavier comfort seats as opposed to the regular ones, etc.

Yes, this is what I've heard. So with the VIN any BMW parts counter should be capable of getting these P/Ns right? I guess I just need to find a more helpful parts counter. Or does anyone here have access to the ETK?
Just call Garry @ BMW of Newport - 25% off and he know parts. (401) 846 6636

There are a ton of people on this forum who probably have all those parts laying around in their garage. Might want to try going that route if you don't mind buying used.

i would also be interested in doing this. rather than spending 2g's for a coilover system. I think the sport suspension is a good call. Good luck and let us know how it turns out. Sorry i can offer any help...
well its actually not even close to a coil system and around the same price if new
with any coil, you can adjust the spring drop, and shocks and in many cases good coils have tons of adjustability so you can set it how you see fit
