Hi. I am new here. Anyone know what wiring harness
controls the air bags on a 2005 530i? I have seen engine wiring harness, body wiring harnesses, and likely some other harness.

(A friend of mine is trying to locate a pigtail from a 2005 530i. It connects to a wire that goes up to passenger airbag.)

He had an accident and crushed the pigtail that comes off of a wiring harness. Then that wire goes up to the airbag. Airbag did not go off, BTW.

BMW does not show a part number for the connector on the wiring harness, or at least my friend somehow crushed the wiring connectors
he has found. He doesn't necessarily need a complete wiring harness.

If it's anything like the 6 the wiring harness is attached to the airbag and plugs into the steering wheel control module
