what suspension is best
Just posted something earlier about the perfect feel of mtech sports suspension on a rental bmw. I have been told i cannot retrofit.
So can someone tell me the best lowered kit for the e60. I was looking at bilstein but worried it may be too stiff. To be honest i found the mtech sport firm but very comfortable and it did not pick up every ripple as if it was a massive hole. So thats what i am looking for something that firms the car up but not too jarring and uncomfortable. Any ideas guys?

Been out in the mtech sports again. super fantastic handling. Dont understand why they cannot retrofit will have to look into this again on Monday.
Price range, well would spend up to ?1,000 dont really want to spend much more. I can get bilstein b12 for ?613. + fitting. I am still shocked at the difference from my e60 with sport suspension and the mtech sports. However, mines has done 77,000 and the rental has done 4,000!
Any ideas Mike?

My Ride: 535d Sport, carbon black, media pack, visibility pack, grey leather, heated seats, sun protection glass, voice control, Eibach ProKit, 19" 166 style wheels, e-maps ECU remap to 325hp and 640NM, top speed limiter removed
M-sport springs were too crashy for my liking. I have a Sport and swapped the M-sport springs for Eibachs. Much more compliant ride.
If you really want the M-tech setup, you should be able to buy springs, shocks and ARB's seperately from BMW and have them fitted. No matter what the service guy tells you, as you can just buy the parts.
A good aftermarket suspension kit will probably even better and less expensive, too. I'm toying with the idea of getting rid of my M-suspension in favour of a KW variant 2 and even thicker and solid H&R ARB's

Did you do this? I have recently changed my Sport springs and shocks to Eibach Pro springs and KONI FSD. I am very happy with the results. I am now considering the ARB. Any experience/advice will be appreciated.
