Mods: Spacers 5mm front & 15mm rear . Wheels: 20" Alpina Softline (Classic) with Dunlop Sport Maxx non-RFT (255/35/20 & 285/30/20)

IMHO the OEM M167 M6 wheels have a great offset for the E60 and you are already pretty close to that...
Yours: 19x8.5 ET15-front/19x9.5 ET22-Rear
OEM: 19x8.5 ET12front/19x9.5 ET17-Rear

That means 3mm up front and 5mm on the rear. Not sure if you can go a great deal beyond that, especially if you are planning on lowering it on H&R sport, however others here in the forum have far more experience in making these things work!

Ya, OEM 167's offsets are ET 12 upfront and ET 17 in the Rear. You could put 5mm spacers on the REAR, but not really goint to make a huge difference, he front also not worth it. I bought my M6 replicas from Modbargins too, but my offset were 15 front and 20 for the rear. I'm wondering why urs are 22et. I'm lowering my car too so I def not want to take any chances on rubbing.

There were a couple of different manufacturer's of the M6 replica wheels. The offsets available on the 19x9.5 ranged from ET20 to ET22, depending on manufacturer.

The size spacer you can use will also depend on your wheel width & wheel offset.
