+1 I too am interested in spacers for the rear of my 550i but want to continue to use my wheel locks. Currently, I have McGard Wheel Locks. Anyone else using spacers and wheel locks?

My Ride: SOLD...Jet Black 2008 550i M Sport with SAT, black interior. RPI exhaust and air scoop, 35% huper optik tint all around, CF roundels, flat black kidneys, Springfield Armory XD-40 jet black in glove box, charcoal filter removed.

I ran 5mm spacers in the front and 15mm in the rear with my 172's before I got the F14's - it looked great! The F14's have a nice offset factory and don't need any spacers.

The only issue with spacers is a small safety concern - and BMW may not like it if you report any transmission or differential, etc problems and they know the spacers were/are on there.

But, 15 and 5 spacers with the stock 172's looks awesome!

Does using spacers cause any tranny of diff problems ? What safety concerns are there ?
