i know it doesnt gain any hp but putting in a sprintbooster made a big difference for me! having a quicker response on the pedel around the corners and highway will make a enjoyable driving experience.

if she didn't have boobs I would be the first one to get her the nicest pair... for my own enjoyment! That doesn't mean I don't love her...

I gotta say you're really lucky enough to have the 255hp engine. I have the 225

If you really like the 5 series, you can consider a 550 or m5.
Theres not much you can punch outta the I6.

or..

Perhaps upgrade to a 550 or m5 , or buy a new car.

I went to a BMW specialized performance shop today to see what they could do to give this machine more HP.

I already replaced the air filter, removed the charcoal one and installed the scoop. Other than that there's no much else. I was hoping they could come up with some creative solution to add 20-30 extra hp, but nope. I could replace the exhaust to get a mere 5hp, or even get a new flash for a similar increase, but those are very costly mods for the very modest increase in hp. So I'm pretty much stuck.

I used to drive an Infiniti G35 before this car and man that thing flies compared to my current BMW. Wish I had done more research before getting it and would probably gotten the 535i or 545/550.

You know, I have a short story to tell you that might give you some perspective....

Day before yesterday I had to drop off my car to the dealer to get a new steering wheel because my heating element went out. Well, they gave me a 2009 BMW 335i twin turbo sport as a loaner. The thing is like a damn pocket-rocket. It is fast as hell, steering is smooth, sporty, etc. But wow, what a sardine can! No amount of horsepower can make up for how tiny and MEEP-MEEP it feels. I am so anxiously awaiting my car to be complete because nothing beats the feel of my car, its perfect size, the nice, linear, non-turbo accel, sleek look, and roomy interior. I, too, was disappointed in my little 225 HP i6 at first..... but over time I realized I don't drive on a race course every day and I don't NEED that. My I6 is actually plenty of car and on the expressway it really hauls ass at higher speeds. I even love the sound of my stock exhaust at about 3600 RPM, sounds really sweet.

In the end, while I might someday get a 550, for now, I really love my 530i.

Well it does look cool indeed with those wheels on.

For me I guess it's not that I'm gonna need the power for a particular reason, etc, but I just like to have it if I ever want to use it. A friend of mine has a Corvette and I drove it a couple of times, man those 500HP do feel good, even if you only use them once a month, it's well worth it, that push towards your seat and looking at the other cars in slow motion is priceless! so I guess my next car will definitely have a bigger engine, i'm just sad it's not this one, which everything else I love.
