Anyone know the bilb size the rear license plate bulbs goes by? I want to change them to whiter bulbs. These yellow ones are ugly now that i've seen white ones.

The manual says C5W whatever that means... it also says 5Watts but thats not much help.

I'm looking to buy just whiter regular halogen bulbs... not LEDs.

Anyone know the name of them... Like 9006, H11, H7's HB4... etc

Thanks

You are correct that the 5-watt (C5W) bulb is used for the license plate lights but keep in mind that the GE table that you copied out of the other thread (from das' post) has at least one error on it.

I'm not sure I'd trust the information on that table...

EBM you can go with LED you will just have to buy the resistor pack that goes with it.

There are posts by DAS that shows his install of LED, i just bought LED for the side markers and reverse and will be buying Break lights and Corner signal LED as well.

Do you know which resister pack would work for rear license light? Also keep in mind that theres no room to hid the resister pack in the light fixture. I know das has changed them to LEDs but his posts says hes getting the error of the light out but he just doenst care and ignores it.
