Hi Guys,

Just wondering if you guys could help me and tell me the cheapest place to buy a VIS csl style bootlid/trunk and if you have any piccys please post them up. Also what is the fitment like and does the carpet and toolkit fit in its original place inside?

Thanks guys

i have the seibon oem cf trunk, fitment is good but its time consuming because you have to align and file every hole to make things fit right.

Took my shop 5 hours to do it.

Seibon/VIS are basically the same thing. Mine is good quality and looks great. The carpet kit fits perfectly.

Youre best bet is to find a vendor in the UK that sells it.

This was before we removed the trunk springs, it now sits 100% flush.

Funny.. I was just using the search function and reading info about this.

- fitment is not perfect, may take a few hours to tweek if you do it yourself
- must adjust the springs to prevent the trunk from flying up and knocking yourself out

- maybe only a handful of members have them. there is an international member from bahrain or something that has this on his m5. mustangv6 and I think Trinity installed their demo one on another member's car.

fitment is perfect, but its not cut to exact oem specs, it requires you spend time adjusting and cutting to get it done right.

The spring issue is true, but the cf trunk weighs so much less than its oem counterpart so really what did anyone expect? lol
