Does anyone know where I can get the chrome steering wheel trim at a reasonable price? Stealers are wanting a fortune.

IDK try Garry Romani of Newport BMW - he gives a 25% discount to 5series.net members.

There are companies that make these things, but they all cost loads of dough (here's an example clicky)

So you aren't getting any responses, because you kinda want what doesn't exist... well, that and the forum's been kinda dry lately.

Search, search and search again - that's the only real advice you can receive in response at this point.

Thanks for the response. I am looking for maybe a used part or as you say some dealer discount. I don't think Gary ships to the UK

some of the uk breakers?

http://www.fabdirect.com/
http://www.bmspares.co.uk/index.htm
http://www.quarrymotors.co.uk/

they will probably want to sell the whole wheel in most cases, but if the airbag has been deployed, they might sell you the trim only..

or you can wrap it in vinyl - definitely most cost effective, just have to find the right colour
