Any one have any tips for installing a valentine 1. Where to place it - How to run the power to it. Thanks

I had a shop hard wired my V1 and tap into the front dome light for the power source. Here's a pic of where it's mounted:

There are lots of threads on V1 installation, this is a good one.

I mounted mine to the right of the mirror, and as I was also installing a remote display, I ran the line across the top of the windshield, down to underneath the glove compartment, tapping into a supply for the 12-volt lighter plug in the passenger footwell. I installed the remote display to the left of my HUD close to the windshield. Whole operation would have taken someone with skills about a half hour. Took me a full hour...
