Will OEM mtech fit?
Guys will a rear OEM mtech bumper from a 2008 BMW 550i fit my 2008 BMW 528i with plug and play? Or do I need brackets or something else? Both cars are LCI. Hoping someone can shed some light on this. Thanks.
+1 about the lci & pre-lci, but this is irrelevant in this case.
The mounting brackets (#5) are slightly different between the non-sport rear bumper and msport rear bumper.

And you have to cut the inner plastic fender a bit. Here's an excellent DIY guide!

It will fit...For the best fit, you will need the left right and center MTECH bumper brackets Anzafin posted. Also, possibly the battery compartment cover (under the car).
The holes are in the wrong place for the front bummper to fit.
If the workshop say it will fit then that means they have not used all the screws to hold it on.
I saw a LCI fitted the fit on with out changing the frame and there was only 4 screws holding it on.
