upgrading wheels ?

hey desn't matter in perfromances or smth like that, road handling or smth like that? usually i know only the 19 inch rims have different width front - back! i have 18 inch rims also and soon i may change to non-rft so is it ok to go extra wide on the back?!? 275/35 r 18? and 245/40 on the front? would it look good?!?
Any help would be helpfull ))

The factory options vary from country to country. However, the 'staggered' options (UK) are 245/40/18+275/35/18 or 245/35/19+275/30/19. The M5 has 255/35/19+285/30/19!

It looks great and you can increase traction because the rear wheels are driven
