upgrading wheels ?

My Ride: 2004 530d Mystic blue, black dakota leather, auto ,star spoke 124 alloys ,bluetooth prep, pdc,sports steering wheel, multi-changer.
Is there anything i need to do, when fitting my new wheels to my car 530d se.
I.e software alteration for change in rolling radius/ speedo etc. It came on style 122 17" wheels with 245/45 r17 tyres all round and i have upgraded to 18" style 124 with 245/40 r18 on the fronts & 275/35 r18 on the back.

My Ride: My ex-ride: EU '08 LCI 520dA. Space Grey, Sport Seats in Black Leather/Fabric Anthracite, Sport Steering Wheel, A/C with Extended Features, Hi-Fi Speakers, Cup Holders, Cruise with Braking function, Folding Rear Seats, Xenons, Park Distance Control.

My Ride: 2004 545i - 6 speed manual (July 04 build), silver-grey/black, sports package std equipment (18", active roll, active steering, adaptive headlights), premium sound, bluetooth enabled, folding rear seat, lumbar, 3m hood/bumper protective film, rear tint, euro reflectors.

If you are interesed in all-weather tires, your choices are limited in those sizes, but Michellin does make a AS version of thier Pilot.

I went from 17 inch style 116 to 18 inch style 124 and there are no problems at all.
As said above just reset the tyre pressure monitoring system in the I-Drive and off you go!

Yes they are original bmw I bought them of from a main dealer over ebay.
got a bargain, Wheels were taken from a customers 545i who upgraded.
they havent even worn the moulding tags off the tyres, totally un-marked alloys.

Probably should reinitialize the new tires so you don't get a flat tire warning on the i-drive screen. Hit the 'I' on the i-drive screen, then vehicle settings, then ftm. Follow the instructions on this screen to reinitialize.
