Question: What's the easiest way to stiffen up my ride without changing everything. Can I change to stiffer springs or something simple? I realized that I should have sprung for the "sport" package, after hitting those twisties on Saturday.
HEY! Just noticed that's my 5 in this photograph that you took via the ol' camera-held-up-through-open-moonroof method. Cool! (When I saw you doing that in my rear view mirror I did the same thing, aiming my camera backward toward you through my moonroof, but my shots all came out fuzzy or poorly aimed. Sorry.)

Yeah, I was really impressed with the way my Sport Package smoothed out those twisties on Angeles Crest Highway. Only regret: wish I had a V8!

Suspensions are complicated involving many forces from different directions, a lot of physics going on... I would be carefull swapping out just springs. IMO a car like a BMW deserves a properly engineered match set of suspension components, I was very happy with the Dinan stage 2 pkg I had on my M3. The car road better, cornered better, turn in was exceptional. I would save up for someting worth while.

I prefer Dinan shocks and struts with seperate springs vs coil overs.
