So to sum this all up on what you need for LCI:
* The actual radar that mounts behind the front bumper [fits from LCI only]
* The plastic peace on the bumper that covers the radar
* Two sensors behind the front bumper [fits from LCI only]
* You might be needing new front bumper carrier, otherwise you will have to bolt the radar on. Same with the sensors. And the plastic foam behind the bumper does not fit. I just got rid of it, but then the shape of the bumper suffers a bit
* Control unit for the radar and the sensors [fits from LCI only]
* Wiring
* The cruise control switch, that mounts behind the steering wheel
* ACS/DCS control unit and the pump. This is almost always the case, that it needs chaining. [fits from LCI only]

After all this goes the coding. And then, you might be needing calibration of the camera as the error appears. Calibration can only be done by the dealer and even tho not all dealerships has the equipment. Luckily for me there was no need for the calibration.

Good luck!
Hello Mantelis88,

I have a 2009 E61 (Build date 09/2008) with Cruise control with braking function (S544A) and am planning to do this retrofit on mine.
As of now, I compiled a list of needed parts :-
1x LRR 66316781590
2x SRR 66316790877
1x LDM 66316784844
1x Steering column switch 61316957763
1x DSC control unit 34516783371 (Is this the only part you need to replace your stock DSC unit? I am guessing this is the part# for ASC/DSC control unit and pump)
I found the wireloom that conencts the two SRR, this loom has 3 connectors, two for each SRR and does the third one connects to LRR? What other wiring loom would I need apart from the one that goes to LDM from LRR?

Is it possible for you to read the part#s of the pump you have in your car along with the ACS/DCS (I guess this is simply DSC control unit) control unit for your retrofit?

thanks

Pavjayt, Did you get it to work? I have an E64 with $544A as well. Looking to do the retrofit, but are you sure you need to replace DSC module?

Thanks,
Ced.

I havent done anything regarding this. But if you get this done successfully, I am very interested to hear from you. From what I beleive, you do need to change the ABS pump as it is different with ACC option.

Good luck

I am going to retrofit an ACC with Stop&Go right now to my BMW e60 2008/11. I have bought SRR and LRR from F01. But maybe do you know, if I need to replace my DSC and LDM modules? I had an ACC with breaking function. Is there any difference for these modules?
Thanks in advance.

I didn't know you could use F parts to do the retrofit.

Not sure on DSC and LDM

I'm actively searching for the parts required for the retrofit to add the ACC with stop and go (I'm probably gonna add the night vision too if I get it for a reasonable price).
I have a 2010 bmw 535i xdrive...
it would be interesting to see if the the ABS controller and pump need to be changed (the picture below is what's currently in the car, part number 34516783366)

Does Anyone have pictures of the e60 LCI bumper carrier (with bumper removed) for cars with ACC vs cars without? I just want to see if its doable to add the Short range sensors with some modifications/fabrication.

Hello! Your DSC does not fit. There should be written ACC. I will attach a photo.

Regarding the front bumper carrier I have already asked the dealer and they told me that for e60 there is no a special carrier only for e63. For the e60 SRRs should be placed on the front. There are some special holes for them.

From my point of view the night vision is a useless thing. I have tried it on e65 and e60. You will definitely not use it while driving. Maybe only just to show this cool feature to some girls but nothing more.

Confirming what others have said before in what is required for this retrofit: LRR (bracket +cover), 2x SRR, wireloom (+impact bar), LDM, Stalk, DSC with ACC, and laser calibration at the stealership. Looks to be a $2k+ retrofit for something I may use on weekend, hmm...

It may be different if we can source F parts as Alex mentioned. Would you post the part numbers for F? I'd like to see if I can get them cheaper somewhere to reevaluate the cost/benefit of this retrofit.

How complicated is it to replace the hydraulic block?
