Sweet. Thanks for the update. Do you have a shot of the Red/Grey and Black/Brown wires umnitza was talking about? What leads did he actually tap? Are those power sources always live when the car is on?
Umnitza took the pictures. I know he has a picture of which wire he tapped. AFAIK, he tapped an accessory circuit, so it's on when the lights are moved to parking or headlight position either when the car is started or not. I don't know if I answered your last ques.

And umnitza, do you know the correct ohm resistor to prevent the error from coming up?
Yeah I'll probably end up getting the ICE V2's. I just want to wait until I can see how the wiring is setup from dice's pictures and see if umnitza figures out which resistor to use to prevent the error code. I'm impatient when it comes to installs, so I want to make sure I have all the parts in hand first.
Smart move...I'm impatient on receiving items so I just had to jump in on this before everything was laid out. As for the error code, I'll be the first to tell you by tomorrow or the day after at the latest if it does come up and a resistor is necessary.

AFAIK? What if the headlights are switched to auto mode? If it's an accessory circuit, that means it should be on too when the car is on (btw, what type of error code came up when you guys did this?). Hopefully umnitza's summary will have all the answers.

AFAIK, AFAIK = As Far As I Know.

I may be using the wrong terminology on 'accessory circuit'. I will leave the correct terms to Umnitza.

The error code that came up was a yellow headlamp (looked like a sun) with an exclamation point in the center.

Sorry but I have a quick OT question...

Is there any chance this thread will catch the Singapore thread?

Reading comprehension is your friend RJ.
The error message was due to a DRL wiring harness, not the PNP.

We're doing something outside of the norm...you know...pushing the envelope...not selling a 1W system and claiming it can light the sky in broad daylight.
