Man, this mod is awesome. I joined the forum for this mod as well! I dare not try it myself because I would destroy whatever I touch.
I was reading through the entire thread and someone asked if anyone in the SoCal area has done this mod. I don't think anyone answered him? If someone is in the LA area and has done this please let me know.
Thanks.

Me! I have a thread about this recently as well. There's another member that has it in California, but I think he sent it away to get it done. My buddy and I did mine a few weekends ago.
Here's the thread:

EXCELLENT!! Isnt that great? We're all sharing the mods and it's reaching all over the planet! Now if Mars has e60s, we'll see these mods there too!!! Ricky's cluster mod has reached the states too!
Loving this forum!

what happened to your old headlights? you can experiment with that ![Smile](https://5series.net/forums/images/smilies/imported/smile.gif)

=)
Only downside is that you would have to do a minor mod to the fiber optic wire to the angel eyes. Its the only way to make it bright. Waiting for the parts to test and compare. I hope it works!

And of course these are only for people daring enough to do it. I'll be making the angel eye, and I can do it in NYC, or have the headlight shipped to me and do it.
Not Luis Angel eyes, but hopefully it'll be visible during the day.

He sold the headlights. I'm actually in the middle of a lil project that isn't the luis angel eyes, but might give more output than the Mtech 2 and will be cheaper.

ohh why not the LEDs? you love LEDs ![Laughing](https://5series.net/forums/images/smilies/imported/laughing.gif)

I'm taking out the fiber optic line and putting the LED directly behind the angel eye so that it doesn't lose brightness and doesn't get shared with any other source. I just hope the 8mm led I got is brighter than the LED bulbs I have right now.
